FordPass is a free download for your compatible smartphone or smart watch from either the App Store or Google Play. Although it’s intuitively designed for easy use, you can customize its look by defining dark mode or using iOS widgets.
You can Control Your Vehicle by Remote
When your Ford vehicle is equipped with FordPass Connect, use the app to remotely lock and unlock your doors, or start or stop your vehicle. You can also schedule a start, so that by the time you take the driver’s seat, the climate control system has warmed or cooled the interior to your preference. Discover how your car is performing by receiving health alerts and verifying fuel and fluid levels.
What about Staying Connected?
The vehicle you buy may come with trials for connected services that you can activate, subscribe to, or manage with FordPass. They include BlueCruise for hands-free driving on over 130,000 miles of North American roads; the Ford Connectivity Package that supplies WiFi, entertainment streaming, and navigation; and the Ford Security Package which notifies you if someone is tampering with your vehicle and remotely locks your vehicle to prevent unauthorized access.
Activating Your EV
To get the most of your EV, the app encourages you to find charging stations and map your drive, and ask Intelligent Range how far you can go before requiring a charge. To take advantage of these features, activate your vehicle through the app.
Managing Service
You can then schedule a service appointment and access your maintenance history. If you need help on the road, such as a jump start, fuel delivery, lockout help, flat tire change, or towing, you can call for roadside assistance 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. This service is free on new Ford vehicles for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Enjoy the Rewards
When you buy something or get service from our dealership, you earn rewards points starting with 10 points for every dollar spent on parts or maintenance, all the way up to 31,000 points when you purchase a gas, diesel, or hybrid car. Depending on how many activities you do, your reward tier advances until you achieve the highest Blue level for a 10 percent bonus on points earned, fuel savings, and limited-time offers. You can then redeem these points for discounts on parts, maintenance, or the next purchase of a new vehicle.
